Holiday Dance Recital Details

Our 2024 Holiday Dance Recital will take place on Sunday, December 8th, at Fredericton High School Theatre. We have three shows scheduled between  1:30 PM and 4:30 PM, each lasting 45 minutes to an hour.

Show Schedule

This is the schedule for the show(s) your dancers/tumblers class is in. If your dancer is in more than one class or you have more than one dancer, they could be in more than one show. This may not be the exact order in which the classes will do their dances. This is done in a format that makes it easier to find your class(es).

What time should my dancer arrive at the Fredericton High School?

Show 1: The Dasher Show (2:00 - 2:45 PM): Dancers to arrive between 1:30 and 1:45 pm

Show 2: The Dancer Show (3:15 - 4:00 PM): Dancers to arrive between 2:45 and 3:00 pm

Show 3: The Prancer Show (4:30 - 5:15 PM): Dancers to arrive between 4:00 and 4:15 pm

Please note: The Fredericton High School will be locked until 1:30 please do not arrive earlier and expect to get into the school.

Please use the Theatre/Gymnasium entrance, which is the first door to the school and please use Priestman Street, NOT the Prospect Street driveway.

ATTIRe

• Parent & Me, Teeny Tiny Dancers, Tiny Dancers, Tiny Tap and Ballet classes:

  • Please wear your black leotards with tights of any colour and ballet slippers if your dancer has them. Black leotards with attached black tutus are permitted; please do not wear a tutu if it is any other colour besides black.

  • If your child does not have a black leotard they can wear black leggings and a black tank top. This is also an option for our male dancers.

• Everything Disney, Tiny Tumbling, Advanced Tiny Tumbling and Tiny Gymnastics

  • Please wear black leggings and a red tank top.

  • Tumbling classes to go with bare feet and Everything Disney has the option to wear ballet or jazz shoes instead of bare feet.

  • If your dancer cannot find a red tank top, please check Frenchie's, Walmart, or Superstore or order online. If you cannot find a red tank top, you can wear a plain red T-shirt (you can get them at Michaels's and they are very inexpensive). If you go with the T-shirt option, please make sure it is a fitted red T-shirt with no writing or graphics on it.

• Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Tumbling Classes (Including Acro)

  Note, please see the section above for Tiny Tumbling, Advanced Tiny Tumbling and Tiny Gymnastics.

  • Please wear black leggings and a white tank top.

  • Tumbling classes to go with bare feet. If your dancer cannot find a white tank top, please check Frenchie's, Walmart, Superstore or order online.

  • If you cannot find a white tank top, you can wear a plain white T-shirt (you can get them at Michaels and they are very inexpensive). If you go with the T-shirt option, please make sure it is a fitted white T-shirt with no writing or graphics on it.

• All Hip Hop Classes

  • Please wear grey bottoms (sweat pants, leggings, track pants) and a red top (could be a hoodie, sweatshirt or t-shirt as long as it is plain white with no writing or graphics on it). If there is a small logo (ie: Nike) that is ok.

  • Footwear is to be sneakers

• Friday Lyrical Class with Jules

  Sky Blue T-shirts and Black Leggings/pants.

• Wednesday night Lyrical/Contemporary/Ballet Class

  Please wear black bottoms and a red T-shirt with a red scrunchie.

• Wed Night 11 and over Lyrical/Contemporary/Ballet 7:45 - 8:45 class

  Please wear a Red T-shirt with Black Pants

• Musical Theatre Mon 4:30-5:15

  • Elves - Green Shirt and Black Pants.  

  • Santa - Red Shirt and Black Pants

• Highland Dancers

  • Please wear black leotards with white tights. Ashley (their teacher) to loan the dancers highland skirts.

• Competitive Teams / Dancers

  • For group routines please wear black leggings and a black tank top.

  • For solos please wear your competition solo costumes.

TICKETS

• The first 2 tickets are $20 per adult (Over 16),

• Any tickets after the 2 first tickets are only $15 each.

• 16 and under are free.

• There is no charge for dancers/tumblers.

Tickets must be pre-purchased at the studio to avoid lineups on the day of the show. While, you can buy tickets at the door, they will be $25 per ticket. Ticket purchases are non-refundable.

November Times:

Thursday, Nov 21st: 4:45-7:30 PM

Friday, Nov 22nd: 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Saturday, Nov 23rd: 9:30 - 11:00 AM

Monday, Nov 25th: 6:00 - 8:15 PM

Tuesday, Nov 26th: 6:00 - 8:15 PM

Wednesday, Nov 27th: 4:15 - 8:30 pm

Dec times:

Monday, Dec 2nd: 6:00-8:15 pm

Tuesday, Dec 3rd: 4:30-8:15 pm

Wednesday, Dec 4th: 4:15-8:30 pm

Thursday, Dec 5th: 4:30-7:30 pm

NO TICKET SALES Fri Dec 6th (but you can come in any other day or time that's listed or Fri Nov 22)

Saturday, Dec 7, 9:30-11:00 am

Please Note: If more times need to be added, Roxane will post more at a later date, and, In any class that Roxane teaches (especially ones with assistants) she will be able to sell tickets for a few minutes at the beginning and end of class if needed.

Show Bracelets

You will receive your bracelet(s) when you pay for your tickets. There are no limits on how many bracelets you can purchase.

Payment Method

Tickets are Cash Only, as I am unable to check for e-transfers at the studio, they make it more confusing for accounting, as our monthly accounting is mixed in with regular payments, and we wish to avoid extra bank, Credit Card, and debit fees.

Please bring exact change if at all possible.
