News

Dear Oromocto Dance School Families we have some GREAT NEWS!!!

WHAT IS HAPPENING -

As per the latest Covid-19 update (dated Thursday January 27, 2022), we are now able to resume dance and tumbling classes for all age participants. All participants (NOT just 12 and over) are allowed to attend their classes.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING -

Even though we are cleared to come back now, we will be waiting until Monday, January 31, 2022 to open classes back up. This is due to the fact that we were not expecting the update to come out until January 30th so some coaches are unable to start before Monday and it will give me the opportunity to deep clean the studio before we start back Monday. In addition, there is supposed to be a massive snowstorm all day tomorrow (Saturday) anyway, so it is safer to keep our dancers and our instructors off the roads.

FOR YOUR CHILDREN'S SAFETY -

We will be continuing to take temperatures and hand sanitizing before and after class to ensure your child safety. If your child has tested positive for Covid or if they are not feeling well in general please do not send them to class.

HOW WILL FEBRUARY'S BILLING WORK -

Since we will be resuming classes on Monday, January 31st, regular February fees will be due. Previous classes that were missed due to Covid restrictions (after subtracting the two snow days that so far we haven't used), will be made up before the end of the season (when school ends in June). I will confirm with our coaches availability but would like to use the week that we normally have off for March break (a week that we've already deducted from your yearly fees) as one of the makeup weeks. The classes would run during the same days and times during that week. Once I receive a final confirmation I will update everyone.

FOR THOSE WHO CANCELED FOR FEBRUARY BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT WE WOULD BE CLOSED -

Some of you paid the cancelation fee ($25 +tax) because it was uncertain as to when we would be able to open up to all dancers and tumblers. If you have done that but would like to continue with your classes for February, I can credit your cancelation fees towards your February fees. We would love to have all of our dancers and tumblers back, we miss them very much. If this is your situation and you would like to return, please just bring your dancers/tumblers back to their class and we will send your invoice after their first class back. That way you do not need to wait for a response from us, just bring them to class.

If you receive an invoice in error, please respond back and let us know, we are still working through communications sent to us over the past couple of weeks. (We've been overwhelmed with emails and messages, the best way to get ahold of Roxane is by phone at 506-262-7653)

Thank you for your continued patience as we navigate the Covid-19 pandemic. We cannot wait to see everyone back in the studio next week.
